Idle Game Studio (the "Game") is developed and published by ZAF Games Inc. ("we", "us"), a company based in Quebec, Canada. We are the controller of your personal data. We do not require an account to play, and we do not knowingly collect your name, email address or precise location (unless you contact us).
3. Why We Use It, and Our Legal Basis
- Operate and improve the Game (bug fixing, balancing, performance) — legitimate interests.
- Process purchases through Google Play or the Apple App Store — performance of a contract.
- Detect cheating, fraud and abuse — legitimate interests.
- Measure and attribute our own advertising (AppsFlyer) — legitimate interests, or consent where required.
- Show and measure ads, including personalized ads (AdMob) — your consent where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, through the consent prompt shown in the Game).
- Respond to you when you contact us — legitimate interests.
4. Third Parties We Share Data With
These providers process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google (Google Play Services and Billing, AdMob) — Google Privacy Policy.
- Apple (App Store distribution and in-app purchases on iOS) — Apple Privacy Policy.
- AppsFlyer (attribution and analytics) — AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.
- Discord (community support, only if you contact us there).
We do not sell your personal data for money. Some laws treat sharing identifiers for advertising as a "sale" or "sharing"; see Section 9 for your choices.
5. Children & Age Requirement
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 and will delete it if we learn we have. Where the age of digital consent in your country is higher than 13 (for example 16 in Poland), we do not rely on your consent for personalized advertising unless a parent or guardian has given it. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to play and to make in-app purchases.
6. International Data Transfers
Our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States and Canada. Where required (for example for EU/Poland players), transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Data Retention
We keep gameplay, attribution and advertising data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as set by our providers' own retention settings, and then delete or anonymize it. Purchase records may be kept longer where required for accounting or legal obligations.
8. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and the security features of Google Play, AppsFlyer and AdMob to protect data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify affected players and the competent authorities as required by law.
9. Your Rights and Choices
All players
You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (on iOS, you can also allow or refuse tracking in the prompt shown by the Game, or later under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking), ask us to opt you out of AppsFlyer attribution, and uninstall the Game at any time. To access, correct or delete your data, or to ask any question, email support@zafsolutions.com (or use our Discord). We will respond within 30 days. We may ask for your advertising ID to locate your data, since we hold no account information.
Canada (including Quebec)
Under PIPEDA and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, you may access and correct your data, withdraw consent, and file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
United States
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct and delete your data, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of data for targeted advertising. Use your device's ad settings or contact us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Philippines — Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173)
You have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
European Union / Poland — GDPR (RODO)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to object to certain processing, including profiling for advertising. You may lodge a complaint with the Polish authority (UODO) or your local supervisory authority.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. We will change the "Last updated" date and, where required by law, give additional notice (for example in the Game).
11. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without prejudice to any mandatory data protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
